High-level employer branding for SOPREMA

Specialized in waterproofing and insulation systems, SOPREMA is currently constructing a brandnew insulation factory named Ambior. To keep the factory up and running, some 150 vacancies – including a dozen positions for highly qualified, technical profiles – will need to be filledTo tackle this challenge, SOPREMA called in the help of Onlyhumans. Happy to oblige, wpulled out all the stops with a never-before-seen campaign and a real-life stunt at an altitude of 50 meters. Talk about taking brand awareness and employer branding to a whole new level!

Highly remarkable employer branding campaign

To put SOPREMA’s vacancies for their new state-of-the-art factory in Tongeren in the spotlight, Onlyhumans came up with an original creative concept called The Top Job of Limburg’. A remarkable job stunt which we ourselves produced entirely – from press invitations to video recordingsWe fleshed out the concept through employer brandingperformance campaigns via social media and by setting up dedicated website.

Spectacular job interview event

On Saturday September 1, Onlyhumans organized Job interview at an altitude of 50 meters, an event which treated dozens of applicants to the interview of lifetime. To apply for their dream job at the new Ambior site, each candidate was hoisted high above the city centre of Tongeren by a huge crane. In this unique setting, they were asked to explain what made them the ultimate candidate for the Top Job of Limburg.

Successful stunt

The employer branding campaign yielded a total of 1,915,000 impressions via Google Display, LinkedIn and Facebook, all on a media budget of just € 2,700. The performance campaign results we achieved via Indeed, LinkedIn and Facebook – using a total media budget of € 14,300  were top-notch as wellSome 30 candidates effectively applied for job and more than 100 candidates responded positively to the job invitation. Needless to say, many vacancies have been filled by now. In addition, our job stunt received loads of attention from both regional and national press.

Whose peak level equals Mount Everest?

Of course, the adventure continues for SOPREMAs new employees once they’re on board. Through intensive training, they get to prepare themselves for the real work and become internal ambassadors to strengthen the brand’s international growth. To this endOnlyhumans developed the PEAK Program (which stands for Power, Engagement, Ambition and Know-how).

Training for the job asidethe PEAK program also prepares SOPREMA’s new employees for a unique adventure othe roof of the world, as top candidates who make it past ‘base camp 4’ receive a free ticket to Mount Everest!

Fun fact: this striking employer branding campaign also provided Onlyhumans with a place at the top. On October 23, 2018, our work for SOPREMA received a BtoB Award from Media Marketing. The impressive concept and the wide reach of the Ambior campaign earned Onlyhumans a bronze medal in the Best Use of Event category.
